SkillsUSA: LEVEL UP

The 2026–2027 SkillsUSA theme, LEVEL UP, is more than a slogan—it is a challenge to continuously improve ourselves, strengthen our chapters, and prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.

As your Georgia SkillsUSA Postsecondary State Officer, I will use this theme as the foundation of my leadership. My platform is built on six commitments that reflect the values of SkillsUSA and my vision for the future of our organization.

LEVEL UP Leadership

Leadership is not defined by a title; it is defined by action. Strong chapters begin with strong leaders, and strong leaders begin with a willingness to serve.

Encourage members to pursue leadership positions.
Support chapter officers as they grow in their roles.
Share leadership experiences and lessons learned.
Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and service.
Inspire members to step outside their comfort zones and discover their potential.

Communication

LEVEL UP Communication

Members deserve officers who are approachable, responsive, and willing to listen. Every conversation is an opportunity to strengthen our organization.

Encourage open communication between members, advisors, and state officers.
Listen to concerns, ideas, and suggestions from members across Georgia.
Help create an environment where every member feels respected and valued.
Advocate for professionalism and respectful discussion during meetings.

Celebrate personal and chapter achievements.
Help members grow from first-time competitors to state and national leaders.
Create an environment where growth is recognized and excellence is expected.

Service

LEVEL UP Service

Service is the heart of leadership. Leadership begins by being present. Every chapter deserves support, every advisor deserves appreciation, and every member deserves encouragement.

Help at conferences and chapter events.
Support chapters and mentor competitors.
Take time to listen to members and advisors.
Actively participate in as many SkillsUSA opportunities as possible throughout the year.

Future

LEVEL UP the Future

My vision extends beyond this campaign. I want to strengthen education-industry relationships, support workforce development, mentor future competitors, and continue serving SkillsUSA long after my competitive career has ended.

Strengthen relationships between education and industry.

Return to my former high school to inspire the next generation.

My Promise

If elected, I will not measure success by the number of speeches I give or the number of titles I hold. I will measure success by the relationships I build, the members I encourage, the chapters I support, and the opportunities I help create.
