The Competition Experience

Competition has been one of the most rewarding parts of my SkillsUSA journey.

From regional contest floors in Georgia to the national stage in Atlanta, these photos cover the wiring stations, the awards, and the arenas where all of the preparation finally pays off.

Every one of them represents hours of practice, problem-solving, and the standard of workmanship SkillsUSA expects.

SkillsUSA provides opportunities that extend far beyond competitions.

One of my goals is strengthening the connection between education and industry.

Investing in Future Leaders

Leadership means creating opportunities for others.

Whether that is in the classroom, on a scaffolding tower, or back at my home chapter, supporting the next generation of skilled professionals is the part of SkillsUSA I care about most.

The Work Nobody Sees

Success is built long before the awards ceremony.

These are the shop days, the practice builds, the packing lists, and the milestones in between — the unglamorous work that every medal is actually made of.
